Our brew classes are geared toward helping you brew better coffee. We cover a wide range of brew methods and techniques with the intent of making participants aware of best practices. Each class has a specific focus, but we welcome all of your questions.
In this class we look at the effect of coffee's primary ingredient: water. Water makes up 98% of your brewed coffee, so it is vitally important to the overall flavor. We explore the impact of water by brewing with a variety of store-bought bottled waters, Dallas tap water, and "bespoke" water created with a customized blend of minerals. This class will be primarily focused on tasting rather than brewing.
