This washed Peaberry coffee is sourced from small farms located on the Kuta Ridge in Waghi valley of the Western Highlands. Operating alongside a collaboration between traditional rivals, the Ulga and Kolga tribes, Kuta Mill pays bonuses to farmers who deliver quality cherries consistently.

95% of the coffee that is grown in PNG comes from the Western Highlands region. This area is textbook prime land for growing coffee which creates the heavy body and savory, sweet flavors that make it famous. Coffee from PNG is graded using a unique matrix that considers screen size, bean shape, defect count, and color in addition to aroma and cup quality. A/X is the highest quality available. This is a juicy cup of coffee with a smooth mouthfeel. As it cools, you’ll taste a complex, balanced coffee waiting underneath the surface. Look for big, bright flavor notes with this brew. We taste green apple, roasted walnuts, and light molasses finish.
