Our new offering from Mexico comes from a select group of farmers working small microlot farms in the Chiapas region, growing coffees at altitudes up to 1900m. They farm using traditional production and processing methods, and following organic practices. Each farm processes their own coffee cherries, which results in an artisanal production from seed to cup. The area is known for having light rains in late afternoon, which means that mid-morning the coffee is taken up to the roofs, usually of the producer’s homes. These environmental conditions encourage utilizing active innovation and ingenuity in their coffee processing.

What a great example of delicious Mexican Chiapas coffee! The subtle berry acidity and warming flavors of vanilla and cocoa are palate pleasing to both the traditional and adventurous coffee drinker. It’s a rich, satisfying cup that is enjoyable on its own or accompanying your favorite breakfast or dessert.
